He is in a consulting room somewhere, waiting. There are scientific charts, and x-rays, and illustrations of the human anatomy on the walls, so it must mean this is a doctor’s office. A middle-aged woman in a medical smock is behind him – how he knows that she’s there, wearing the smock, is unclear. She reaches out and takes hold of his skull like a cantaloupe, squeezes it, manipulates it, as if she’s in a supermarket trying to decide whether or not to buy.

“Hm...”

“What? What is it?” he demands.

She seems to be agonizing over something. “Your head – it’s not the head of a normal man.”

“But ... what does it mean?”

“A head of this size usually indicates some sort of psychotic pathology.”

At this he spirals into a blind panic and bolts.
